Shute Harbour Cruises
Situated just 10 kilometres east of the stunning Airlie Beach on the Whitsunday coast of Queensland is Shute Harbour. It serves as a boarding point for ferries between the mainland and the Whitsunday Islands and is home to many charter and tour operations that offer quality tours of the Whitsundays.
The Whitsunday Islands are a favoured destination for many, as they lie in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef in the warm waters of the Coral Sea. Many see the Whitsundays as a paradise, suitable for relaxation, romance or a private Island adventure. Shute Island is the gateway to this amazing tropical delight.
Shute Harbour connects you to all the wonders of the Whitsundays and will give you a lifetime of treasured memories. Most of the Whitsunday islands are beautiful deserted tropical islands, but seven islands are renowned island resorts. Daydream Island, Hamilton Island, Hayman Island, Hook Island, Long Island, South Molle Island and Lindeman Island all are well known and well patronised by Australian and International visitors. The Whitsundays offer opportunities to see the delights of the tropics by air, yacht, kayak or even Jet Ski. There are numerous organised tours that will give you the chance to see the Whitsundays in all their glory. There’s even a Whitsunday crocodile tour that will take you to see saltwater crocodiles in their natural habitat! However you wish to spend your Whitsunday experience, it starts with Shute Harbour.
